Here at CEG we offer a number of services that cater for all your arts, party and function needs.  Whether you need to hire some sound cables, or get us to run the technical side of your drama / dance performance, we offer it.  A list of most of the available services is below:

  • Crew & Technicians
    • We have numerous members of crew with experience in a range of venues; halls, fields, theatres and more, we can provide people that can move set, rig and operate sound & lighting, visual equipment, and all positions for small - medium sized events.
  • Parties
    • We have a range of effects lighting, laser, rigging and audio equipment suitable for all sizes of parties, in viallage halls or marquees.  We also stock a range of mic systems and stage lighting for any bands that you might use to spice up the party.  On this note we can recommend several artistes that we have worked with from folk & classical music to rock & pop music.
  • Conferences
    • We have a range of audio and lighting systems suitable for conferences, things that will spice up any corporate event, and even the latest in digital technology to give you excellent sound quality.
  • Technical Design
    • We can provide you with lighting & sound designers for everything from band nights & dance shows to your classic drama production.
  • Technical & Event management
    • Need someone to arrange all the equipment and staffing you will need?  Need someone with knowledge of health & safety and entertainment licensing regulations?  Then we can help, providing you with people that can administrate everything you need in your event.
  • Marketing (Online and Print)
    • We offer website design, hosting, administration, and print design (including posters, flyers, tickets etc) through our partner BEhost.
  • Equipment Hire
    • We have a variety of power & sound cables, lighting, effects and audio equipment in addition to other event accessories available for hire.
  • Equipment purchasing & installation
    • We can use our knowledge of compatability, value for money, quality and suppliers to get you great packages at the best prices.  Not only can we deal with making the payments on your behalf, we can take delivery of it all, releiving you of the nightmare of delivery firms.  But it doesn't stop there, we ensure that all the extra cables and accessories that you need are there.  And finally, if you need.  We can come and set up all the equipment, get it ready for use and ensure the set up is safe.
  • Video recording and editing
    • We have professional videographers available to edit your films, whether its an evaluative video report, a simple family video memory or a stage show that you want to let your cast keep forever.  We can also come and record the event with good quality equipment.
  • Technical Theatre Training (for students and others alike)
    • With experience on mentoring students on the job for both lighting and sound rigging & operation we have also provided training for students in health & safety management, marketing, stage management and even production management.  Our experience is mainly with young people aged 13-20 and we have child protection policies and safety procedures in place to provide a supportive environment.
  • Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
    • This is a legal requirement in numerous scenarios.  We almost always bring test equipment with us to events, all our equipment is regularly inspected, and we will only work with items that have passed.  We currently cater for all non-IT equipment, stage lighting and audio equipment through to domestic appliances.  With great rates and a professional service see our PAT page.
  • First Aiders
    • This is very important to events.  Most of our team have a knowledge of first aid and we can provide a first aider to your event if you need, along with the equipment needed.  The benefit of this to your event is that when a first aider isn't needed during an event they can be working on another aspect.  Because of this it can be very cost effective!
  • Consumable Products
    • We are able to supply masking, electrical (lx), & gaffer (gaffa) tape along with an assortment of bulbs and other consumable items.

We normally offer a package of services, for example an often requested package is the Lighting for all the bands etc onstage and the PAT testing of equipment beforehand as part of a safety strategy.  We normally offer discounts on packages and multiple bookings and will always aim to undercut a competitor.  Don't forget that if you want to get young people or students involved in the technical side we can do this!!  We are very used to working with young people (we are a youthful company) and are insured to mentor students under our supervision.
