Thanks to recent investment proposals we are expanding our stock of equipment! As of Summer 2008 we will be a limited company, offering customers the piece of mind to know that they are dealing with a professional company rather then a sole-trader or freelancer that could get ill and not meet your standards. We will be phasing in a launch of our brand streamlining, new corporate website, entertainments website, arts agency website and of course our technical services website. We will be bringing you new innovative technology that will allow you to put your own packages together and get an estimate immediately, but for those that want the full service our new integrated technology allows us to bring you a quote from anywhere in the world, on site at a gig or from one of our offices! So watch out for this Summer, the new look, streamlined, expanded CEG Theatre Services will be available for the delight of all our customers.
Background
Originally established in April 2007 we have grown rapidly and catered for a variety of events such as parties, conferences, dance shows, musicals, band competitions, pantomimes and arts festivals. Our team and equipment stock has increased with our development and are reaching further and further out, we have a wide range of clients from the Arts Council of England to local authorities and local educational establishments.
We offer great services to theatre companies, youth theatres, venture specialists, bands and conferences. We can crew your show or manage the whole technical side of it. We can undertake lighting and sound design for theatre musicals and plays or for your special product launch. We can help supply your band with all the sound and lighting equipment you will need. Based in St Edmundsbury, Suffolk, we cater for the surrounding areas across the East of England.
We have a collective of freelance technicians and event organisers with experience in outdoor and indoor functions, managing theatre productions and other events, from running the technical side in one venue for a run, to transferring a show to larger venues. And whats more, experience in touring a show with a quick getin and getout.
We work regularly with young people and professionals alike and as such can cater for working with childrens theatre too. At a young age we have a variety of qualifications to boost our experience and even have a large team of technicians available for the larger events...
We are also a proud sponsor of the Bury St Edmunds Youth Council who run a range of events and have the aim to network local youth organisations and promote a voice for young people in and around Bury St Edmunds. As part of our Social responsibilities we are the only theatre services company locally to sponsor a youth organisation, in addition to our discounted (and sometimes free!) services to events for good causes and our commitment to increasing the skills of our staff and students alike.
